A video showing the last moments of Defence Minister Dr Edward Omane Boamah before his fatal helicopter crash has gone viral.
According to graphic.com.gh, the clip was part of a tribute by the Ministry of Defence. It shows Dr Boamah, dressed in white, arriving at the Air Force Base to board a Ghana Armed Forces Z-9 helicopter.
Before boarding, he spoke with some men and told his bodyguard and the ministry’s cameraman to stay behind due to limited space. Smiling, he shook hands with the crew and took his seat. As the helicopter moved down the runway, he waved from the window before takeoff.
